product review: Myra E Daily Sun Protect Facial Moisturizer

sorry for the super super late post and for going awol, the last few days in manila have been very busy and hectic (will post pics of those soon) and now, im finally home!!! whoot!

anyhow, i recently bought this new product here in cebu, ive been looking for it in manila but either it sells out so fast or they haven't distributed it in stores yet. to my surprise, it was here! so yay! anyway, summer's started and i think this is the best time to really stress on the spf. although i put on sunblock everyday, even when it's not summer, and if you guys dont do that, i think you should start, even more so now that its super hot.

i've been a myra e user since they came out with their first moisturizer, i like it cause it's light and non-greasy, moisturizes yet doesnt make my face oily aaanddd is cheap! i usually put on sunblock right after but sometimes, especially on extra hot days, my skin kinda gets oily, and i hate that, plus i sometimes forget to put sunblock on if i'm in a hurry, or im too lazy haha. so you'd imagine how excited i was to find out that myra finally came out with their sunblock/moisturizer!

i think it's great, i like the texture, not to greasy, and i tried it out, it feels like a normal moisturizer and doesnt leave that white mask you get after sunblock. i think everyone should try it out, its definitely worth a try, and it's a lot cheaper than some facial sunblocks out there (about Php 89.50 or around $4.50?)

pros:
- non oily or greasy
- light
- doesn't leave a white mask
- doesn't dry shiny
- gets absorbed by the skin right away
- saves the extra step of moisturizer and sunblock, since it's two in one
- it's cheap!

cons:
- has a flowery smell, but other than that, it's great!

product review: L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Gentle Lip and Eye Makeup Remover For Waterproof Makeup

that was a mouthful haha anyhow, i'm one of those people who absolutely cannot go to bed unless all traces of makeup have disappeared. i cannot sleep even if a slight stain from mascara or eyeliner is still visible, no matter how sleepy or tired i am, even if it's at the wee hours in the morning, i simply must remove all of it( i know, im oc that way)anyway, i've been using baby oil for quite some time as my eye makeup remover, and it does work, and its really cheap too, but the things i dont like about it are: it gives you that blurry hazy vision after, it can clog pores, and i have to wash my face with baby shampoo to break down the oil before the facial wash, and even after that, there's still some oil left on my lids...basically it takes a lot of time to remove it. even if it doesnt really take that long, it feels like it is when youre cranky and sleepy ;/

i heard a lot of reviews about this, and finally decided to try it out, and the verdict? i dont think i'm going back to baby oil anytime soon

this formula separates into two parts when the bottle sits still for some time, a blue oil looking one at the top, and a clear liquid one at the bottom, youre supposed to shake it till they combine and then use a cotton pad to put it on your lids

i got mine from a drugstore called mercury drug,
and it is a bit pricey 395 pesos or around $8 compared to baby oil which is priced about 30 pesos or less than a dollar, but it's cheaper than high end brands like lancome, shu and whatnot

pros:
- packaging lessens spillage especially when youre going around and putting it in your suitcase and stuff
- great for sensitive eyes
- removes make up really really fast, like un
believably fast
- removes waterproof eyeliner and mascara like they weren't waterproof at all
- no tugging involved

- my lashes didn't fall off
- didn't sting my eyes
- didnt leave a greasy oily feeling meaning: a.) w
on't clog pores and b.) no more extra step of baby shampoo wash! yay!
- cheaper compared to high end branded product
s that work

cons:
- a bit pricey compared to local products

but other than that, it's great!

what it looks like before you shake it

what it looks like after

will i be buying it next time?
most probably yes, unless i find a cheaper and better one, but so far, it looks like this'll be at the top of my list ;
)

pardon the photos i need an a.) a new camera and b.) a photographer

product review

so i finally got my urban decay primer potion in sin (thanks auntie bet!)and i love love love it! it's a very pretty color when worn alone, but it's pretty with other things over it too!i kinda have oily eyes so eyeshadow kinda fades or goes down to my undereye area after a couple of hours, especially when it's hot, and it's really hot here in manila, but it did stay on all night and didn't crease, even my liquid liner stayed all night it it's not waterproof or anything so that's a plus.

pros:

-great color
- gives all shadows and liners staying power
- doesn't crease

- doesn't dry eyelids
- you only need a bit

cons:

- bottle isn't very helpful in scooping out the rest of the product

*don't throw out your udpp when you think it's empty! there are still loads and loads of product in there and you just don't know it! you can cut the bottle up and put the product in an airtight container..more on that later...;)

would i buy it again?
yes, definitely!

here's a photo at the end of the night, sorry, the pictures are really bad, i took it on photobooth late at night when i got home and didnt get to take any photos right before we went out ;/

i used:

- udpp in sin
-dior lip and eye color palette in O65-silver dust (a light smoky grey color), 515- serene beige (a very light and shimmery beige) and 005- icy white ( a shimmery white)
- faceshop pen eyeliner
- maybeline waterproof volume express mascara in black
